Approved Mission ProjectsThese projects are available for local churches and individuals to contribute their time (mission work team) and/or a financial gift. Choose a project and contact Rev. Ken Swearingen.

MEXICO (Visit the Web Site)

Project #1 - Remodeling & Enlarging of the church in Cuauhtemoc, Chihuahua. Daniel Duran, Pastor; Attendance 120-140. The church also operates a Christian School. Project Costs: $10,000

Project #2 - Remodeling the parsonage in San Juanito, Chihuahua. New floors, drywall, and roof repair. Antonio del Angel, Pastor. Project Costs: $2,000.

Project #3 - Replace roof on the church in Jalpilla, San Luis Potosi. The church is raising $6,000 in addition to this project amount. This is one of the largest churches in southern Mexico. Ausencio Saenz, Pastor. Project Costs: $5,000.

Project #4 - Building the first chapel in San Vicente, San Luis Potosi. The chapel is located in a small town and the first building will be 60×30. The congregation is about 30. Project Costs: $3,000.

Project #5 - This is a new church plant in Chihuahua City. The walls are up, but a floor and a roof is needed. Project Costs: $10,000.

Project #6 - Building a chapel in Aquigochi, Tarahumara Church building. The building will be 30′ by 60′. They already have $3000 in the building fund. Project Costs: $2,000.

Project #7 - Repair and Remodeling of the church and the purchase of property next to the church with a house for a parsonage in the village of Seis de Enero. The church is raising a $1000. Project Costs: $3,000.

Project #8 - Two Communion sets with a knob on cover (note: not a ‘cross’) to be purchased in the US and carried into Mexico. This is for local churches in the Mission. Project Costs: $450

Project #9 - Completing the second floor and roof of the Torreon Church educational building. The church has the walls up with locally raised funds. The funds are needed before the coming fall rains ruin the first floor ceiling. Project Costs: $10,000.

Project #10 - Power Point Projectors and for three local churches and the general office. To be purchased in the US and carried into Mexico. Project Costs: $2000 (about $500 per projector)

Project #11 - Digital camera for the general office for historical records and publicity. To be purchased in the US and carried into Mexico. Project Costs: $400.

Project #12 - A laptop computer for the general office and travel of the general officers. The present laptop is the personal property of the office secretary. To be purchased in the US and carried into Mexico. Project Costs: $800.

MYANMAR (Burma) (Visit the Web Site)

Project #1 - A Conference Center & local church in the city of Kalaymyo. The US will invest most of the finances in this first building project in our new Mission Conference. We invite donations to grow this fund. Project Costs: $100,000

Project #2 - Assistance for the rent of the new church plant in Yangon. Project Costs: $1500 a year.

Project #3 - Personal availability to travel on a mission trip to Myanmar. Costs: $2700
