• Born at Parkersburg, West Virginia, September 30, 1950
• Early life spent in Sardis, Ohio and adolescent years in Parkersburg, West Virginia
• Married to the former Loretta G. Dion of Fitchburg, Massachusetts
Loretta graduated from Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts with an Education Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. She received her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 1990 from West Virginia University. Loretta is the founder of Covenant Christian School in Morgantown, West Virginia; served as the pastor of Children’s ministry at the Community Church of Greenwood from 2001-2003; presently she serves as a consultant for Christian School educators and local church children’s ministries in staff and program development.

Benjamin: Graduated from Asbury College 1997 with Secondary Education Degree and graduated from Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi in 2001 with a Master of Divinity Degree. Ben served Emmanuel EMC at Sullivan, Indiana in 2000 while in seminary. He joined the staff of Community Church of Greenwood as a church planter intern in a joint effort between the EMC and CCG. Presently he is the founding pastor of Covenant Community EMC in Greenwood, Indiana. Ben married Andrea Nicols on March 1, 2002. Andrea gave birth to David Leigton on October 12, 2003.

Danielle: Graduated from Asbury College 1998 with a Secondary Education Degree majoring in Biology/Chemistry. She married David Ellis on October 30, 2000. After teaching for two year she gave birth to Kaylee Ann, January 29, 2002.

Nathan: Graduated from Asbury College 2001 with a Communications Major. He worked at the Australian and Salt Lake City Olympics. Nathan accepted a youth pastor position at the Elizabeth City Evangelical Methodist Church in North Carolina in 2002. He married Leah Hurely on June 14, 2003.

Present Ministry

Holds the elected office of General Superintendent of the Evangelical Methodist Church, International Headquarters located at 6838 South Gray Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237.

Dr. Williamson holds revivals, is a speaker at Church Growth Conferences, missions conferences, seminar leader on topics of Lay Mobilization, Leadership Development and Church Growth through evangelism. Both he and his wife hold marriage seminars and teacher training events. Loretta speaks at many women’s seminars with expertise on a variety of topics dealing with women’s issues, pastoral ministry, discipleship for children and Christian School ministry. Dr. Williamson founded the Covenant Evangelical Methodist Church in Morgantown, West Virginia. The church planted five daughter churches during his pastorate.
