
BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Rev. Floyd B’Hymer is a graduate of Asbury College and Seminary. He is married to Mrs. Jo Ann Barnett B’Hymer and they have one daughter, Pam, and two grandchildren. Floyd and Jo Ann are both from the state of Kentucky and met in high school. They have ministered in the EMC for 45 years, and have been a parsonage family to seven different congregations of the denomination. He has filled many administrative offices in the denomination, including being nominated for the office of General Superintendent in 1994.
Rev. B’Hymer accepted the position of District Superintendent during
the 2002 District Conference held in Parkersburg, WV. He and his wife reside
at the district home and office in Columbus, IN. Rev. B’Hymer has traveled
extensively throughout the denomination holding revivals and other preaching
assignments. He has taken four trips to Israel and many other countries. His
driving passion is preaching the gospel and church growth. Several young people
have been called into the ministry under his preaching and mentoring. He welcomes
